Fusing 101
Course Description:
Fusing for Beginners will teach you all of the basics from beginning to end including cutting, grinding, glass compatibility, kiln preparation and operation, fusing, slumping and annealing. You will create a piece of jewelry, a small plate or bowl, and a tile or coaster using frits, stringers, confetti, dichroic glass, and sizzle sticks. Our classes offer large work spaces, ample tools, technical notes, and small classes of only 6-8 students. Come learn with us!
Cost: $300.00 for the weekend.
Fusing 201
Course Description:
Now it's time to do MORE! Let's explore design, frit, dichroic glass, sizzle sticks, stringers, fusing, and slumping in a larger piece. Cold working will be emphasized so that your pieces will have a professional finish. Students will create a 14" piece from start to finish. Pieces will be ready in 1-2 weeks.
Cost: $350.00 for the weekend.
Prerequisite: Fusing 101.
Florals 101
Course Description:
Florals! Florals! Florals! We'll discuss design, color, fusing, slumping and, cutting techniquest to add dimension. This is a technique rarely seen in glass, and Donna is one of the few artists that work in this area. Come learn how to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind glass pieces. Each student will finish a lovely 14" plate to take home. Pieces will be available in approximately one week.
Cost: $300.00 for the weekend.
Prerequisite: Fusing 101.
Florals 201
Course Description:
Flowers and more flowers are put together in our Florals 201 class, and they just keep getting bigger, better, more complicated and more beautiful. We'll discuss and practice drawing skills, design, shading and painting with frit and confetti, firing temps for more textured and thicker glass, and slumping or hanging solutions. All of these elements will transfer to glass projects with many other subjects. Bring your love of color, nature, painting, building, and glass all together in one piece! In the fall, we will take on landscapes with the same methods...look for our Painting with Glass Class on the next schedule!

Course Description:
You've seen those gorgeous cabuchons made with dichroic glass! Well, we're going to make them and MORE! Let's make pendants and earrings too! It's a great way to make gifts for the holidays or presents for anytime. Come join the FUN!

Mosaics in Glass
Course Description:
For two days, we will cut, design, frit for grout, and fuse a beautiful 14" piece that will be slumped or hung as a wall panel. This wonderful art form is especially glorious in glass and lends itself to plates, bowls, wall panels, windows, doors, table tops and more!

June Fusing Spectacular
Course Description:
Spectacular week for Fusers!!!! We are offering a full 4 days of fusing for beginners that will give you a foundation to go anywhere with fusing that you'd like to go! The class will cover jewelry, small projects such as coasters to fusing and slumping a mosaic bowl or plate, and more advanced techniques in cutting, fusing, and slumping larger pieces. This class covers what you might expect to receive in 3 other class all rolled up in one. It is not for the faint hearted....come prepared to work! More details coming soon!
