Hello and Greetings to Our Glass Friends and Family!
The beginning three months for our business has been wonderful.  We have had three very successful classes, learned how to use alot of new tools, and made some wonderful, larger pieces.  We hope to have pictures uploaded on the website in a couple of weeks.

As for the future, our next big event is the Art Show in the Woodlands (TX) on May 3rd.  If any of you are in the area, please come out to see us.  It is a juried art show, and I've been told that there are some wonderful artists showing their work.

Our next class big event is the four day class in June which is almost full, and we are thrilled!  We have students coming from the other side of Louisiana, the Woodlands, and locally.  It is going to be a challenge for all of us because we have planned to create some wonderful pieces in those four days.  The class is for the extreme beginner, but we have planned beginning through intermedia... more

Floral Fused Glass Gallery
As an artist, I began as a painter, and quite naturally gravitated to warm glass because of it's 'painterly' qualities. The possibilities available in form, dimension, color and design are only limited by one's creativity. Plans for a series on birds, sailboats, lighthouses, dancers, and more florals are in the making. As new photos are added, we hope you will return to see them, and, if you have time, leave us a message. We would like to hear from you.

Contemporary Fused Glass Gallery
What is warm or fused glass? In contrast to cold glass (stained glass) or hot glass (blown glass), warm glass uses a kiln to join pieces together. It is an ancient art form known to have existed as early as the second milinium B.C. in Mesopotamia. Warm glass techniques, however, were virtually lost by the fourth or fifth century A.D. Rediscovered in the nineteenth century, it's popularity grew slowly until the mid 1970's when Bullseye Glass in Oregon invented compatible glass. Since that time, there has been an explosion in the fused glass world. I feel fortunate to be a part of this movement. This gallery contains all works other than those with floral designs. Thank you for taking the time to view these pieces, and if you have time, please leave us a message.

Original Tile Murals & Accessories
These murals consist of 6 inch tiles that are painted with multiple washes and fired at least six times before they are glazed and fired again. Each mural is an original piece of art designed and painted by the artist. Matching accessory pieces such as sinks, wash bowls with pitchers, and plates, are available for any design. Because they are glazed bisque tiles, they are as durable as any glazed ceramic tile for the bath or kitchen, yet they are a one-of-a-kind works of art. Custom orders accepted.
