Dancing Light Fused Glass COURSE SCHEDULE
We are located on twenty, beautiful acres just north of Huntsville, Texas. In January 2008, we finished our studio and are now open for classes. Opportunities to study with other visiting artists will offer a wide variety of classes from which to choose. Commissioned art pieces, custom tile murals, and original art pieces are available through our studio.
What makes our classes stand out from the all the others? We try really hard to give our students more than what they might expect. Our new studio is beautiful and set in a lovely, wooded area conducive to creating something beautiful. The class size is limited to usually 6, but no more than 8. Each student has 3' of working space and a whole set of new tools and supplies. Our classes are well-prepared, organized, and full of information. THEY START ON TIME! They do not always end on time if our students need an extra hour to finish....we stay with you.

Updates for Spring and Summer Classes
Open Studio
Every month we have open studio time for those that have taken classes with us. Open studio is $5.00/hr., and we are always available for help and advice.
Studio hours are the first Saturday of each month, unless we have a class scheduled, from 10:00-3:30. The first and third week of each month, studio time is Tuesday and Thursday 10:00-3:30, 5:30-8:00. Special arrangements may be made by appointment. Please call and make reservations as we limit the studio to 6. See ya there!
Upcoming Classes
Please call 936-291-0975 for information or to sign up for classes. A deposit of half is required to register for the class and may be paid by check or money order. When payment is received, we will enroll you in the class. The second half is due the morning of the class. If there is a cancellation, we will give you credit for another class in the future. No refunds will be made. If classes fill, then we will keep a waiting list of up to 4 people.
We've been working on our schedule for the next few months, and are excited about what we have planned. We are especially excited about our four day workshop for those that are just beginning fusing and want to learn alot in one fell swoop! That happens in June. But, July the 4th will be another huge class for those that already fuse and just want to make a gorgeous, huge, floral wall hanging...we're trying to talk John into sailboat panels next time. Take a look at our classes and see if any work for you...remember, you can always call us if you want to have private class time.

Mosaics in Glass
May 17 - 18, 2008 - 9:30 am - 4:30 pm both days
Cost: $300.00
For two days, we will cut, design, frit for grout, and fuse a beautiful 14" piece that will be slumped or hung as a wall panel. This wonderful art form is especially glorious in glass and lends itself to plates, bowls, wall panels, windows, doors, table tops and more! This is the only time this class will be offered until later in the year.

June Fusing Spectacular

Spectacular week for Fusers!!!! We are offering a full 4 days of fusing for beginners that will give you a foundation to go anywhere with fusing that you'd like to go! The class will cover jewelry, small projects such as coasters to fusing and slumping a mosaic bowl or plate, and more advanced techniques in cutting, fusing, and slumping larger pieces. This class covers what you might expect to receive in 3 other class all rolled up in one. It is not for the faint hearted....come prepared to work! More details coming soon! Hurry...only 6 students accepted!

Floral Extravaganza

Prerequisite: If you have taken Fusing 101 or Floral 101, you will be eligible for this class.
Floral Extravaganza is the class for you if you want to make a large (17" by 28" approximately) wall panel that is filled with flowers, dimension, and color that will knock your socks off! Three days of designing, cutting, building, and firing glass...what else could be more fun for the fourth? This is an advanced class, and will not be offered again until later in the year. Hurry...only 5 students accepted! More details coming soon!
