Dancing Light Fused Glass Schedule

What makes our classes stand out from the all the others?

We try really hard to give our students more than what they might expect. Our classes are well-prepared, organized, and full of information. THEY START ON TIME! They do not always end on time if our students need an extra hour to finish....we stay with you.

We look forward to working with clients and fellow students of the arts and appreciate all comments, questions, and information. Please feel free to contact us at any time.

For questions concerning workshops, please contact us through the contact page of this website or phone us at 936-436-2250 and leave a message. Please speak slowly and repeat your name and number to assure that we hear it correctly. Thanks!

Happy New Year to our Glass Friends!

John and I had a wonderful 2016, and we are so looking forward to new work, new workshops, and new friends and students in 2017.  This year we already have great workshops planned for March, April, and June of this year!  All of the projects are new designs, and I think they are lovely!  They are listed below:

Tulips!  Tulips!  Tulips!March 17, 18, and 19th

Creative Arts Center of Dallas
10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Amazing dimensional tulips and leaves on a beautiful large panel…..lots to learn and a huge challenge to the intermediate to advanced student of fusing!  Every aspect of the piece will be taught in detail so that every student finishes this lovely piece.  Students will cut glass (students should be experienced in glass cutting before enrolling in this class), learn to shade with frit, bend stringer, and fuse their pieces.  $700 for everything.    Call the Creative Arts Center for more information.  214-320-1275

April 28, 29, 30, and May 1
10:00 to 5:30
A & A Products
Seguin, TX

What a wonderful large panel for fusers who want an advanced workshop!  This lovely water bird is dimensional, shaded, and covered with long, whispy pulled feathers….pulled with the hot head torch….lots of fire!  It will take every minute of the four days to complete this piece so come prepared to learn a lot and work hard. J  We also have a special treat as Matt Grones, the owner, and his wife are providing a small breakfast and lunch each day.  Everything is included for $800 total.  He has created a wonderful space for glass classes and is an amazing stained glass artist in his own right.  He is the one to call for more information at 830-303-8021.

The June workshop for now will remain a mystery class….  However, the one hint that I will give is that it will be in Reno, Nevada!  My friend, Debbie Howell, and I are still discussing subject, dates, etc., but it will be special.  Can’t wait to go to RENO for the first time!  Will put out another newsletter before March about the details.

Thank you all for helping to make 2016 a great year, and let’s make 2017 the best yet.

Blessings to you all,

Donna and John
